So long, summer.
I’m a little backwards. I struggle with feeling depressed more in the summertime when the sun is hot and oppressive. So when the temps drop and autumn starts to creep in, I feel like I come back alive. My head feels clearer, I’m happier. My soul exhales.

We drank so much iced coffee/tea this summer. I’m looking forward to HOT beverages again!

So long, summer. You can keep your 100 degree temps.

I was just thinking I have a Starbucks gift card and the only thing I like there is the peppermint hot chocolate! I was considering a purchase at lunch – if it is still nippy out (high of 67 today – fall is in the air!)
I’m the same way. If I could, I would hibernate from April to October. I am a completely different person once the temperatures outside drop to 70 or less. I really hate the sun, because heat just makes me so much sicker. My dream is to move to Seattle or Portland because of their weather.
@murisopsis - Because of your comment, we totally went out and bought hot chocolate ingredients this weekend. It’s still supposed to be in the 90′s all week here, but the nights/mornings are getting cooler!
@BohemianLotus - I have always thought I’d love to live in Seattle. I’ve never been! Someday, Joe and I are going to go check it out. It sounds lovely.
